SalesEar Free Trial vs Paid Plans: What You Get and When to Upgrade

SalesEar Team7 min read

You signed up for SalesEar's 14-day free trial. Calls are flowing. Transcripts look good. Your morning meeting used call data for the first time. Now day 10 is approaching, and you need to decide: which plan, if any?

This post breaks down exactly what the trial includes, what each paid tier offers, and how to decide based on your team size and what you actually need.

What the 14-Day Free Trial Includes

The trial gives full access to every feature. No gates, no artificial limits on functionality. You see the complete product as it works on a paid plan. This is intentional. You cannot evaluate call analytics by looking at a subset of features. You need to see transcripts, scores, journeys, and persona match working together to know whether the tool fits.

During the trial:

Every call your agents make is captured, transcribed, scored, and analyzed. Standard and deep analysis modes are both available. Call journey groups every interaction a contact has with your team. Persona match classifies buyer behavior. Follow-up gaps, pricing flags, and commitment tracking all work.

The trial is per organization, not per agent. Add as many agents as you need to test properly. The point is to see real data at real volume before committing.

You don't need a credit card to start the trial. You sign up, add agents, and start.

What Happens When the Trial Ends

If you do not upgrade by day 14, your account moves to a limited state. Call capture stops. Existing data remains accessible for a period, but it stops processing new calls. The dashboard becomes read-only.

This isn't a hard cutoff meant to pressure you. It is a practical limitation: processing calls costs compute and storage, and the free trial covers 14 days of that cost. To continue processing, pick a plan.

The Three Paid Plans

Starter: ₹999 per user per month

For small teams getting started with call analytics. Covers the fundamentals.

What you get: call transcription, call scoring, call summary, audio playback, intent detection, objection detection, deep analysis, and speaker labels. 5 standard hours per user. 90-day data retention. Email support with a 24-hour response.

What you do not get: agent analytics, agent trends, leaderboard, call journey, persona match, CSV/PDF export, reports, conversion probability, manager role, or SOP scoring.

Who this is for: a 3 to 5 person team where the owner or manager reviews calls personally. No team lead hierarchy needed. No multi-agent journey tracking needed. You want accurate transcripts, scores, and flags. Nothing more.

Pro: ₹1,499 per user per month

For growing teams that need visibility across agents and contacts. This is the most popular plan.

What you get: everything in Starter plus agent analytics, agent trends, leaderboard, CSV export, PDF export, call journey, persona match, weekly and monthly reports, and conversion probability. 40 standard hours per user. 0.5 deep hours per user. 180-day retention. Priority support with 6-hour response.

What this unlocks that Starter does not: call journey groups every interaction with a contact across your team. If three agents called the same prospect, you see all three calls in one timeline. Persona match classifies buyer behavior and tells you which agent has the best rapport with each contact. Agent analytics shows per-agent performance trends over time. Leaderboard ranks agents by score, conversion, and activity. Reports run automatically weekly and monthly.

Who this is for: a 5 to 20-person team with a manager who needs to see team-wide patterns, not just individual calls. If agents share leads, cross-sell, or hand off prospects to each other, you need journey tracking. If you want to coach based on data trends rather than individual call reviews, you need agent analytics.

Sarvam partnership offer: Use code SARVAM at checkout to get your first month of Pro free. Payment details are captured via Razorpay but you are not charged until month 2. This offer applies to Pro only and can be activated at any point during or after your 14-day trial. If you activate on day 14 of your trial, you get day 14 through day 44 of Pro at zero cost.

Business: ₹1,999 per user per month

For teams that need advanced coaching, compliance, and management controls.

What you get: everything in Pro plus SOP scoring, custom SOP, dedicated access manager, manager role, per-team SOP, custom analytics prompt, API access, and dedicated support. 50 standard hours per user. 1 deep hour per user. 270-day retention.

What this unlocks that Pro does not: SOP scoring evaluates calls against your custom Standard Operating Procedures, not just generic quality metrics. Manager role separates what team leads see from what the sales head sees. API access lets you push call data into your CRM or BI tools. Custom analytics prompts let you ask specific questions of your call data beyond the default analysis.

Who this is for: teams with 15 or more agents, a management hierarchy (team leads + sales head), and specific compliance or coaching frameworks they want to enforce. If you are a real estate developer with RERA disclosure requirements, an insurance company with script compliance needs, or any organization with formal SOPs, this tier enforces them through call data.

How to Decide

Three questions make the decision clear.

Do more than 5 agents share leads? If yes, you need a call journey. That means Pro or above. If your agents work independently on their own leads with no overlap, Starter handles it.

Do you need to compare agent performance across the team? If you want leaderboards, trends, and weekly reports, that is Pro. If you just want to review individual call transcripts and scores, Starter covers it.

Do you have SOPs or compliance requirements? If your industry requires specific disclosures on calls (RERA for real estate, IRDAI guidelines for insurance, NBFC compliance for lending), and you want calls scored against those SOPs automatically, that is Business.

For most teams starting out, Pro is the right entry point. It covers everything a manager needs to see what is happening across the team without the complexity of SOPs and API integration. If you find after 2 to 3 months that you need SOP scoring or API access, upgrade to Business. The data carries over.

The Scaling Math

Per-user pricing means costs scale linearly. Here is what each plan looks like at different team sizes:

5 agents: Starter ₹4,995/month. Pro: ₹7,495/month. Business ₹9,995/month.

10 agents: Starter ₹9,990/month. Pro ₹14,990/month. Business ₹19,990/month.

15 agents: Starter ₹14,985/month. Pro ₹22,485/month. Business ₹29,985/month.

25 agents: Starter ₹24,975/month. Pro ₹37,475/month. Business ₹49,975/month.

Annual billing saves up to 10 percent (Starter ₹899, Pro ₹1,299, Business ₹1,799 per user per month).

Compare this to a single lost deal. For a real estate brokerage, one missed follow-up on a ₹60 lakh property costs ₹60,000 in lost commission. That covers 4 months of Pro for a 10-agent team. The ROI math usually makes itself obvious within the first trial week.

Hours and Rollover

Standard hours are included per user per plan. Unused standard hours roll forward to the next billing cycle with a cap (varies by plan). This means quieter months do not waste your allocation.

Deep analysis hours are included in Pro (0.5h/user) and Business (1h/user). You can add more deep analysis hours as add-on packs. Deep analysis is for calls that need higher multilingual accuracy, compliance-grade transcription, or detailed coaching insights. Standard vs. deep covers when to use each mode.
